Uninstall the Agent

  1. Remove the include statement for the NGINX Agent from the HTTP server configuration.
    For example in nginx.conf: 
    load_module /opt/opentelemetry-webserver-sdk/WebServerModule/Nginx/ngx_http_opentelemetry_module.so;
include /opt/opentelemetry_module.conf;
  2. Restart the NGINX server.
  3. Uninstall the agent: 
    <agent_install_directory>/install.sh -u
  4. Optional: Remove any remaining Splunk AppDynamics files:
    • <agent_install_directory>
    • /tmp/appd-sdk
