Promote status

The list of possible statuses of promote jobs.

After creating a promote job, you can check its status in the Promote inputs tab.

The possible statuses:

  • Cancelled - The promote job has been intentionally stopped before completion. Once cancelled, you can delete the promote job from the system.

  • Cancelling - Cancelling request is sent but not yet applied.

  • Failed - The promote encountered an unrecoverable error during its operation. You can delete a failed promote.

  • Finished - The promote has successfully completed its data ingestion.

  • Initializing - The promote job starts or has been restarted after being paused.

  • In progress - The promote job has begun processing data. You can temporarily pause the data ingestion process and resume it when needed.

  • Paused - The promote job has been temporarily paused. You can resume the data ingest or cancel it permanently.

  • Pausing - Pausing request is sent but not yet applied.

  • Scheduled - The promote is set to start at a future date and time. You can initiate the promote immediately, even if it was scheduled for a future date.

Select a promote input to check its details. In the Data Input Details tab, you can see the possible actions for a promote in a given status.
