Configure advanced settings for SSO
Populate the advanced section to set up load balancing or change the SAML binding. In Advanced settings, provide the following information:
| Name Id Format | Provide the Id format provided by your IdP. |
| Fully qualified domain name or IP of the load balancer | Set to: https://sh1.STACKID.example.com. This setting works for a Splunk deployment with Single Search Head Setup or a Search Head Cluster Setup. You must provide an address if you use load balancing with a search head cluster. |
| (Optional) Redirect port - load balancer port | Provide a redirect port for the load-balancer described in the previous field. |
| Redirect to URL after logout | URL to which Splunk should direct a user after logout. |
| SSO Binding | The protocol binding to use for the login request sent to the IdP. |
| SLO Binding | The protocol binding to use for the logout request sent to the IdP. |
