Send data to an Edge Processor using HEC

Configure your HTTP client or logging agent to make HTTP POST requests to a supported HEC endpoint on an Edge Processor instance. If your Edge Processor has multiple instances, then you must make the HTTP requests to either a specific instance or a load balancer that is configured to pass incoming requests to multiple instances.

Note: The examples on this page use the curl command to generate the request, but you can use any tool or application that is compatible with the HTTP and REST specifications.
