End of Support Notice: .NET Agent Ends Support for .NET 6
This document announces the end of support (EOS) for a Splunk AppDynamics product.
Who is impacted?
All customers currently on .NET 6.
What is being deprecated?
March 15, 2026, the .NET agent will not support .NET 6. Microsoft support for .NET 6 ended on November 12, 2024. Cisco AppDynamics follows Microsoft support cycles, see .NET and .NET Core Support Policy.
Is there a replacement for .NET 6??
Yes. Customers can upgrade to .NET 8 or later.
