This topic describes how to turn on Ingest monitoring.

When you open the app for the first time, click Turn on Ingest monitoring to enable the app to begin collecting data. For more information about how data is collected once Ingest monitoring is turned on, see About metrics in the Ingest monitoring dashboard.

Once you have turned on Ingest monitoring, you can also pause it. See Pause and resume Ingest monitoring for more information.
