Enable Splunk AppDynamics Related Content in Kubernetes navigators

This feature is only available on the Kubernetes pods and workloads navigators. On the workloads navigator, Related Content is only supported for deployment and StatefulSet instances.
Complete the following high-level steps to enable Splunk AppDynamics Related Content.
Prerequisites

To enable Splunk AppDynamics Related Content, you must meet the following requirements:
Your Splunk Observability Cloud account uses the same region as your Splunk AppDynamics tenant.
- Splunk AppDynamics requirements:
- You have the admin role in Splunk AppDynamics.
You have a Splunk AppDynamics SaaS environment with controller version 25.7.0 or greater.
- You know your Splunk AppDynamics tenant URL, which was provided to you by the Splunk AppDynamics Operations team when you completed your registration with Splunk AppDynamics. For more information, see Controller Tenant UI.
You have installed the required agent (Java, .NET, or Node.js) for your environment and correlated it with the Cluster Agent. For more information, see Manually Configure App Server Agents to Correlate with the Cluster Agent or Auto-instrument Applications with the Cluster Agent.
Splunk Observability Cloud requirements:
- You have the admin role in Splunk Observability Cloud.
- You have set up the Splunk Distribution of the OpenTelemetry Collector to collect Kubernetes data. To set up the Collector independently, see Collect Kubernetes data.
Link your Splunk AppDynamics tenant to Splunk Observability Cloud
Describes how to link your Splunk AppDynamics tenant to Splunk Observability Cloud as an amin.
Complete the following steps to link your Splunk AppDynamics tenant to Splunk Observability Cloud.
- From the Splunk Observability Cloud main menu, select Settings, then AppDynamics Connection.
- Select + Splunk AppDynamics.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to link your Splunk AppDynamics tenant.
- Log back into Splunk Observability Cloud. The AppDynamics Connection page displays the new connection.
