Kubernetes proactive troubleshooting journey

The Kubernetes nodes and pods navigators now support the following enhancements:​

  • ​A new default view called the ​Overview​ that summarizes entity performance and facilitates faster troubleshooting. Learn more.

  • ​A new ​K8s events​ tab to monitor Kubernetes events. This feature requires enabling Log Observer Connect. Learn more.

Custom tags for Monitoring MetricSetsIn Splunk RUM, create a Monitoring MetricSet with a custom span tag to filter and aggregate metrics. Learn more.
Histogram visualization for Troubleshooting MetricSetsUse the Tag Spotlight in Splunk RUM to switch to the histogram view for front-end metrics such as Core Web Vitals. On the Sessions tab, select a histogram bucket to drill down into the matching sessions. Learn more.
Log Observer Connect optimized default index selection and UI Experience

Log Observer Connect has the following usability improvements:

  • Default index selection ensures that only a user’s most relevant indexes load by default

  • Filter placement is improved for smaller screens

  • Users can edit filters inline
