Step 2: Instrument your application for Secure Application
To enable Secure Application monitoring, configure a language-specific agent that collects and sends telemetry from your application to Splunk Observability Cloud. This telemetry flows through your OpenTelemetry Collector ("collector"), which acts as a centralized pipeline for telemetry ingestion.
Proper instrumentation ensures that security vulnerabilities and runtime behaviors are accurately captured, providing the necessary context for effective application security monitoring.
