View, respond to, and share Alerts with Splunk Mobile

Receive, manage, and interact with alerts directly from your mobile device with Splunk Mobile.

You can receive actionable alerts, visualizations, and push notifications on mobile devices with Splunk Mobile.

Prerequisites

Before using alert features in Splunk Mobile, complete the following:

  • Ensure an admin enables Splunk Secure Gateway on your Splunk platform instance. See Getting Started.
  • Log in to your Splunk platform instance.
  • Tap ALLOW when prompted to enable push notifications.

View Alerts

You can view alerts either by tapping on a push notification or directly in Splunk Mobile:

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  2. If needed, filter the alerts by severity with severity filters at the top of the alert list.
  3. Tap on an alert to open its full details.
  4. If an alert includes a call to action, you can respond directly:
    1. Tap on the alert.

    2. Tap the button labeled.

  5. If needed, share the alert with your team:
    1. Tap the alert you want to share.

    2. Tap the share icon located in the top right.

    3. Select a sharing option.

  6. Finally, you can adjust features like screenshot permissions and view logs in Developer Settings. Select and hold Settings in the app menu.
