Create and Manage Information Points Manually

To create an information point, you must specify the class and method for which
you want to collect information, along with other identifying information.
Information points are evaluated based on the execution of the method on which they are placed. Any match conditions apply to the state of the data at that time. For details on using the UI to configure code matching for an information point, see Data Collectors.

To collect business metrics from the method, from the Edit
Information Point page:

Select Add to add a custom metric for the
information point.
You can configure and customize the type of data you want to collect for business metrics.
- Select Save when you are finished.
