End of Support Notice: RHEL 7
This document announces the end of support (EOS) for a Splunk AppDynamics product.
What is being EOS?
We are ending support for Splunk AppDynamics when deployed on RHEL 7, starting with Splunk AppDynamics version 25.1.0
When will it be EOS?
Effective with the release of Splunk AppDynamics version 25.1.0, RHEL 7 will no longer be a supported operating system for Splunk AppDynamics. After this release, support requests for Splunk AppDynamics running on RHEL 7 will be handled at Cisco's sole discretion, and customers may be required to upgrade their RHEL version to 8.0 or higher to receive full support.
What workarounds do I have?
Upgrade RHEL to 8.0 or higher.
