Reprioritize or reset the priority at the source level

To reprioritize or reset the priority of a source, complete the following steps:

  1. In Exposure Analytics, select Configure then All configurations.
  2. In the Exposure analytics section, select Entity discovery sources.

  3. Select the edit icon next to the source you want to change the priority for.
  4. Using the drop-down lists, select a new priority level for each data processing type.
  5. To reset the priority for existing data, select Reset priority. A priority reset changes all source field priorities to the priority assigned to the source.
    1. Select a Reset time window using the drop-down list. You can select a subset of records based on the last time the record was updated using the reset time window. For example, selecting Past 7 days resets the priority on all records updated in the past 7 days.
    2. Select Run priority reset.
    3. Select Close.
  6. Select Update to save your changes.

After you change the priority levels, the new priority levels apply as Exposure Analytics processes new data. Existing data that's already stored in the app maintains its existing priority level and doesn't reflect any changes you make unless you run a priority reset.
