Cluster

If you require to set up a health rule for the Cluster entity type, perform the following in the Affected Entities section:
  1. In the Select Health Rule Type field, select Cluster Health.
  2. In the Select what Clusters this Health Rule affects, select any of the following based on your requirement:
    1. All Clusters in the Account: Select this if you require to use the health rule for all the available clusters in your Kubernetes environment.
    2. The specified Clusters: Use the arrow keys to move the required cluster name from the Available column to the Selected column.
    3. Clusters matching the following criteria: Use the Name field to filter the required cluster name.
  3. (Optional) Select Evaluate based on Pod metric to evaluate the health rule based on the pod metrics. If you select this option, ensure to specify the pod health rule criteria in the Critical Criteria or Warning Criteria tab.
    Note: When you configure the Health Rule condition and click Select a Metric, the Metric Selection pop-up displays all the metrics that are applicable at the pod level. This ensures that the health rule checks the metrics at pod level and based on the condition, provides the health status for the parent entity. However, if you deselect Evaluate based on Pod metric, the Metric Selection pop up displays metrics applicable at the specified cluster level.
