Monitor the Alert Metrics Using the Kubernetes Metric Explorer Dashboard

The K8s Metric Explorer dashboard displays the Kubernetes metrics created based on the alerts. To monitor using the dashboard, perform the following on the Controller UI:
  1. Click Servers>Clusters on the left pane.
  2. Double click the required cluster or select the cluster, then click Details.
  3. On the right pane, click Events.
  4. Click K8s Metric Explorer. The cluster is pre-selected under Cluster.
  5. Select the required child entity, then select the required metrics. You can change the selection, but you require to select the entities in a hierarchical order. This is the hierarchical order:
    1. Cluster
    2. Namespace
    3. Workload Type and Workload Name
    4. Pod
  6. Click Submit to view the metrics.

    If you do not select the event and click K8s Metric Explorer, by default the Cluster name is pre-selected because the event is part of that cluster. You can select the required child entities and the required metric, then select Submit.
