Configure Splunk AppDynamics for Splunk Log Observer Connect

This page describes the steps required to configure Splunk AppDynamics SaaS to view the logs on either Splunk Cloud Platform or Splunk Enterprise.

Warning: If you are using the

old configuration

to integrate with Splunk Platform, you must disable it before you can use the new configuration. Deselect the Enable Integration checkbox to disable the old integration.

Splunk Platform の統合の設定

Splunk AppDynamics SaaS を設定して、Splunk Cloud または Splunk Enterprise にログを送信できます。

Splunk Cloud 統合の設定

  1. 管理者としてコントローラ UI にログインします。
  2. [Settings > Administration] を選択します。
  3. [Integrations > Splunk] を選択します。
  4. [Enable Integration] チェックボックスを選択します。
  5. [Integration with] オプションで、[Splunk Cloud] を選択します。
  6. [Service Account Username] フィールドに、Splunk Cloud サービスアカウントのユーザー設定時に指定したユーザーの名前を入力します。名前は Splunk Cloud プラットフォームで確認できます。「Splunk のドキュメント」を参照してください。
  7. Password フィールドに、Splunk Cloud サービスアカウントユーザーのパスワードを入力します。パスワードは、Splunk Cloud サービスアカウントユーザーを作成した Splunk 管理者から取得できます。
    警告: この統合フォームに変更を加えた場合は、パスワードを再入力する必要があります。
  8. [Splunk Cloud Platform URL] フィールドに、統合する Splunk Cloud プラットフォームの URL を入力します。
  9. [Connection Name] フィールドに、この統合に選択した名前を入力します。この接続名は、統合と関連データを識別するのに役立ちます。
  10. [Save] をクリックします。
統合を保存した後、統合が正常に保存されるまで、このページで数秒間待ちます。

Configure Splunk Enterprise Integration

To configure Splunk AppDynamics SaaS to send logs to Splunk Enterprise:

  1. Log in to the Controller UI as an administrator.
  2. Select Settings >Administration.
  3. Select Integrations > Splunk.
  4. Select the Enable Integration checkbox.
  5. In the Integration with option, select Splunk Enterprise.
  6. In the Service Account Username field, enter the name of the user that you have provided during the Splunk Enterprise service account user configuration. You can find the name in Splunk Enterprise. See Splunk Documentation.
  7. When you make any changes in this integration form, you must re-enter the password.In the Password field, enter the password for the Splunk Enterprise service account user. You can obtain the password from the Splunk administrator who created the Splunk Enterprise service account user.
  8. In the Splunk enterprise URL field, enter the URL of the Splunk Enterprise that you want to integrate with.
  9. In the Web port field, enter the port number of the Splunk Enterprise web interface. The default HTTP/ HTTPS port for Splunk web is 8000.
  10. In the Management port field, enter the management port number that is used for internal communication in your Splunk deployment. The default management port is 8089.
  11. In the Connection Name field, enter a name of your choice for this integration. This connection name helps you to identify your integration and the related data.
  12. In the SSL certificate (optional) field, upload the self-signed SSL certificate if you are using to secure the connection between Splunk AppDynamics SaaS and Splunk Enterprise.
  13. Click Save.
After you save the integration, wait for a few seconds on the integration page until the integration is saved successfully.

Delete Integration

If you want to configure a new integration with Splunk Cloud Platform or Splunk Enterprise, you must delete the existing integration. Click Delete connection to remove the existing integration.

Warning: Currently multiple integrations are not supported.
